Mcsun Engineering Private Limited

Engineering built around the transformer manufacturing process.

Mcsun Engineering works at the intersection of transformer production, drying technology, vacuum engineering, equipment modernization and plant infrastructure — with a growing focus on helping manufacturers expand toward higher voltage and MVA capability.

Who we are

A process-engineering company evolving into a transformer-plant solutions partner.

Mcsun Engineering Private Limited is based in Pune, India. Our foundation is hands-on engineering around transformer drying systems, industrial vacuum equipment, oil-process systems, automation, refurbishment and field support.

That practical process background now extends into a wider plant-level role: assessing existing transformer factories, identifying capability gaps, developing upgradation roadmaps and supporting the planning of new transformer manufacturing facilities — including projects targeted up to 765 kV.

Our philosophy is simple: understand the customer's manufacturing reality first, then engineer the right combination of retained assets, modernization, new infrastructure and process integration.

What we bring

Engineering depth from process equipment to plant capability.

Mcsun's value is strongest where individual systems must be understood as part of the complete transformer manufacturing sequence.

01 • PROCESS

Transformer Drying Know-how

VPD/VDP process understanding, vacuum performance, heating, condensation, solvent/water handling and process modernization.

02 • VACUUM

Vacuum Engineering

Pumps, boosters, traps, piping, valves, instrumentation, leak performance and transformer-tank evacuation systems.

03 • CONTROLS

Automation & Instrumentation

PLC/HMI/SCADA modernization, process measurement, interlocks, sequence control and operator visibility.

04 • PLANT

Factory Upgradation

Assessment of existing bays, handling, utilities, drying, oil processing and infrastructure for higher production capability.

05 • INTEGRATION

Manufacturing Process Integration

Connecting layout, material flow, process systems, handling and utilities into a coherent manufacturing environment.

06 • EXECUTION

Implementation Support

Technical specifications, engineering documentation, supply/refurbishment scope, erection, testing, commissioning and training as applicable.

Our position

We do not treat plant expansion as an equipment catalogue exercise.

The first objective is to understand what capability the customer actually needs and how much of the existing infrastructure can support it.

Higher-rating capability

765 kV is a plant-engineering benchmark — not just a marketing number.

Planning for EHV manufacturing forces attention to the entire plant: controlled processes, heavy handling, drying, vacuum, utilities, test infrastructure and production flow. That system-level thinking is the direction of Mcsun's plant-solutions practice.
